AICE Media Studies

This is the final version of our AICE Media Studies film. This was a great experience and my partner and I put in so much hard work. 

 Yesterday we completed day two of film which is also our final day of filming. At 9 am we met up at Hampton Pines Park located at an equal distance between our homes. We were very thankful that the weather cooperated with us while filming. It was the perfect weather, a little bit of sun and no dark clouds. When we first arrived we found a pavilion to place our belongings and to read over the script. Reading over the script allowed us to know our lines and stage movements during filming. The first scene we recorded was the obstacle course of going in between bricks. We added a few random clips to add humor for our film. We then recorded my partner and I racing as another competition. This scene took several retakes because we didn't like the angle of the camera and how it portrayed our bodies on the scene. Towards the end we watched every clip to ensure we didn't miss any scenes. We had to go over every line on the dialogue and shooting script to ensure each detail was accounte

This marks another day closer to our due date. Our final task is due on Friday April 16th. Last week we filmed part one of our film. We intended to film part two shortly after part one. Due to obstacles we had to push our film date for part two back. For part two we plan on filming at the Hampton Pines Park on Wednesday April 14th. This park was the best choice for our film for several of reasons. Number 1 my partner and I live far from each other and this is a good distance for the both of us. Number 2 the park provides the space and accuracy for our film. Since we are filming the "Workplace Olympics" we need to ensure that there is enough space. We also wanted a park that is well kept and clean. Editing is set to begin right after we film part two. We need to get started as soon as possible for editing because time is running out fast. We plan on splitting the editing work for our film equally. There are a lot of extra scenes that were taken for part one. We will probably e

 Today we completed day one of filming and it was a success. We arrived at my mother's office with our office attire. When we arrived we ensured that the set was prepared and we took out our props. Since we were in an actual office setting we had to do little to no work for the set. We used our laptops as our main prop for these set of scenes. Before we started filming we had to review our script. Reviewing our script consisted of memorizing our lines, ensuring no parts were left out, and reading the stage directions. After this it was time to start recording and we recorded our first few lines. At first we were really nervous since we are a bit camera shy. It took some time to get comfortable with the camera and memorizing my lines. After the first few lines I got more comfortable and felt less tensed. There were many scenes where we had to reshoot for several reasons. Sometimes we forget our lines, break out into laughter, and even freeze up and stare into the camera. We plan on

Another week passed means another closer to our due date for our film. Its April 5th and our film is due on April 16th. This leaves us under 2 weeks to complete our film. In the last blog I stated our official filming date. April 8th is the first day of filming in the office location. Fortunately, April 8th is nearly  two days away. We are filming at my mother job at 9 am Thursday morning and I can't be more excited. There are many emotions going through head besides excitement. I'm also very anxious because I want us to be productive and successful in this project. I'm aware that obstacles may come our way but we have definitely prepared to defeat those obstacles. Before I go to bed on Wednesday night I will place my office attire out for the morning. I will also charge my phone just incase Jada's phone dies while we're filming. It officially April 1st and we are down to two weeks left to complete our film. For the last three days we have been discussing our official film date. After several discussions we have decided that we're filming on April 6. However that is only the first filming day. As stated in previous blogs we have two separate locations for our entire film. With that being said we will be filming our second location on a day further in the week. This first location will be at my mother's job. Fortunately we were able to get permission to film at her job. There we will complete all of our office location scenes. These scenes will take place before the "Workplace Olympics" at the park. Although we are filming our park scenes on a different day we hope he weather is good. Recently the weather has been sunny with little rain. Originally we discussed our close friend Tiana working with us to aid in filming. Unfortunately she might be unavailable so we have to reevaluate our roles and
